Overview
AltaLink is proposing to build a new substation near the village of Milo as a part of the larger Southern Alberta Transmission Reinforcement. The new Milo substation would be located at the intersection of multiple existing transmission lines approximately 11 kilometres southeast of the village of Milo. This substation is required to enhance reliability of the lines and prevent faults that may occur on one line from affecting other transmission lines.
