Overview

AltaLink is proposing to rebuild approximately 47 kilometres of an existing transmission line, named 904L, between the Jack Fish Lake area and the Petrolia substation located in the City of Edmonton.

Length of line: 47 kilometres
Line voltage: 240 kV
Structure type: H-frame 240 kV tower
Right-of-way: 61 metres

Project Schedule

Summer 2009	Notify and consult with landowners and residents
Winter 2009	Anticipated filing of application with the Alberta Utilities       Commission (AUC)
Summer 2010	Start project construction if approval is granted by AUC
Spring 2011	Complete construction of project
